Goals AND Objectives:

The UCW's goal is to provide a means of developing Christian understanding, faith and experience, through activities and involvement, all while cultivating friendships and uniting the women in our community of faith. All women in the congregation are welcome to join our units!

UCW Unit Meetings:

We have two UCW units that meet monthly, excluding July and August, to enjoy worship, program, treats and one another's friendship.

Unit 3 meets the first Monday of every month at 1:30 p.m. in Dickenson Hall.

Unit 6 meets the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00 p.m. in Dickenson Hall.

Some of our programs include guest speakers, a service project, sharing, discussion, creating birthing kits, reaching out to others through flowers and cards, organizing annual events like the Soup & Sandwich Supper and Memorial Hymn Sing, Rummage Sale and Fashion Show for our community, and hosting a roast beef dinner and auction called “Bids ‘n’ Bites.”

Events AND Fundraisers:

The UCW hosts their Annual Bake & Preserves sale held in the Winter season around Christmas time.

We held our first ever Quilt Show in October of 2023, featuring the artistry of our very own quilter extraordinaire, Barbara Scott.
